Hi
I've been thinking about something simple that's made a real difference lately and wanted to share it with you personally.
What if one of the simplest ways to feel more energized, less stressed, and more focused was something you're already doing thousands of times a day?
It's your breath.
There's a technique called SOMA Breath — a rhythmic breathing practice inspired by ancient pranayama and modern research. When practiced consistently, it can help calm your nervous system, improve oxygen efficiency, and leave you feeling quietly alert.
Here's what it actually does inside your body:
1. Supports carbon dioxide tolerance so your body uses oxygen better
2. Engages your parasympathetic nervous system after each session
3. Breaks the shallow stress-breathing most of us do on autopilot
4. Builds focus through mindful repetition

Here's a simple version to try right now:
1. Sit comfortably
2. Inhale through your nose for 4 seconds
3. Exhale through your nose for 4 seconds
4. Repeat for 20 rounds
5. After your last exhale, pause briefly and comfortably
6. Breathe normally and sit quietly for a moment
Never strain or force the breath hold.
For a quick daily reset anytime stress rises:
1. 2 minutes of rhythmic breathing
2. 30 second comfortable pause after exhale
3. 2 minutes of calm breathing
4. 30 seconds of gratitude
It sounds small. It rarely feels small.
One important note — "Avoid intense breath holds while driving or in water, and check with your doctor first if you have any cardiovascular or respiratory concerns."
Your breath is one of the only systems in your body that runs automatically and that you can consciously control. That makes it one of the most direct tools you have for how you feel in any given moment. No gadget required.
Many people search outside themselves for energy and calm. Yet one of the most reliable tools has been with you since birth.
